NEW MUSIC: Dreamville, EarthGang Ft. Reason — Still Up

A blend of talent.

Dreamville recently dropped off two new tracks suspected to be on the deluxe version of Revenge of the Dreamers III. While they opted for a sexy jam for Ari Lennox’s “BUSSIT,” the label tapped their duo EarthGang and Top Dawg Entertainment’s Reason for a lyric-driven single. If the beat sounds familiar, it may have been a purposeful move by both labels; it sounds as if they leaned on TDE artist Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble” for a bit of inspiration. Give it a listen.

Omarion Shares Thoughts On Fizz & Apryl Jones’s Relationship

Many people struggle with hearing about their ex’s new relationship, but publicly, Omarion has taken his drama in stride. The fact that Omarion’s ex has moved on wouldn’t have made headlines if her newfound love didn’t just happen to be his B2K groupmate Fizz. The two have been performing with each other on and off for the better part of two decades, and while it’s rumored that there has always been some animosity between Omarion and Fizz, no one expected for the latter to date the mother of his groupmate’s children.

The controversy has been the subject of public scrutiny, especially after Fizz and Apryl showcased their romance on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. Omarion finally spoke on the scandal months ago, wishing both of them the best and wanting only to move on in peace and harmony. However, in a recent interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood, Omarion shared that it’s about that time for a sit down with his singing buddy.

“I don’t have a relationship with Fizz,” Omarion said. “I think that there should be [an] opportunity for us to talk one day. I don’t know when that is, but there should be opportunity… Because it’s such a question to people. So, it kinda creates this layer of ‘I don’t know.'” He added, “I wanna be clear though, what me and Apryl had is what me and Apryl had. We created something really beautiful and we gave something truly beautiful to each other that’s really irreplaceable. So, at the end of the day, even though I have public issues, I wish no ill intent or malice towards anyone.”
