A New Jersey predator is reportedly behind bars. On April 9, an unidentified woman claims that a man she knew broke into her home and repeatedly sexually assaulted her while she was being held at knifepoint.
According to reports, the woman’s harrowing ordeal didn’t end there. The assailant reportedly forced his victim to leave with him and took her to a hotel in Middlesex County. There, he continued to sexually assault the frightened woman. Fortunately, she was able to escape and phone authorities for help.
Because she was familiar with her attacker, the victim quickly identified him as 43-year-old Hajkim Samuel. A manhunt ensued and investigators were able to locate Hajkim Samuel at a relative’s home in Newark. He was hiding under the bed.
He was taken into custody on charges of “first-degree kidnapping, first-degree aggravated sexual assault, and third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.”
